VIDEO: Toronto COVID-19 survivor reunites with the health team who saved his life
Richard Reid fell ill in March and was cared for by Trillium Health Partners. In this video, he gets to thank the staff who helped him survive.
Torontonian Richard Reid traveled to Florida in early March and, upon his return to Canada, tested positive for COVID-19. He quickly became seriously ill and spent time in a Toronto intensive-care unit, where he was intubated for several days. He has since made a full recovery, and recently his wife arranged for him to reunite (at a safe distance, of course) with the healthcare workers from Trillium Health Partners who helped him survive his illness. You can watch the heartwarming video on Instagram below.
